Thunder Over Evans, an Armed Forces Day celebration, kicks off at Evans Towne Center Park Saturday, May 18 at 6:15 p.m.

The free event includes food vendors, posting of the colors, musical performances by The Party Crashers and an extreme fireworks show featuring 200 illuminated drones by Verge Aero.

Bring chairs, blankets, ear protection and sunglasses to enjoy the event.
