Ivey_FB_Nov13Ivey Homes has been a trusted name in residential construction for years, and brothers Matt and Mark Ivey, who co-own the business, have much to celebrate.

The company recently marked the closing of its 1,000th home, and employees celebrated by spending a day at Evans Towne Center Park.

“Reaching this goal would have been impossible without our dedicated team and our buyers, so we thank those of you that have helped us reach the 1,000 mark,” says Mark. “This milestone is a great achievement for the whole Ivey team and makes us ready for the next 1,000.”

Ivey Homes also was named a 2017 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year – Sustained Excellence Award winner for continued leadership in protecting the environment through superior energy efficiency achievements. The accomplishment was recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy in Washington, D.C., in April 2017. STAR provides great benefit to the buyer and sets us apart from the competition.” This award is bestowed upon diverse organizations that have demonstrated continued leadership in energy efficiency. Ranging from small, family-owned businesses to Fortune 500 companies, winners represent energy-efficient products, services, new homes, and buildings in the commercial, industrial, and public sectors. After pursuing engineering and real estate careers, respectively, Mark and Matt started Ivey Residential in 2004, following in the footsteps of their father who’d been building since 1984. “With our name as part of the company, we did not want to be the lowest price per square foot builder,” says Matt. “We felt like we could create a system and environment where we could offer better homes at competitive prices while providing personalized choices and options.”

“As an ENERGY STAR partner since 2006, we’ve always strived to provide a better-built, more energy-efficient home,” Matt says. “We feel ENERGY STAR provides great benefit to the buyer and sets us apart from the competition.”
