  • Watermelonade-Jul20131 large watermelon, chilled
  • Dash or two of lemon juice
  • Pinch of sugar
  • 3-4 fresh mint leaves
  • Sprite (or sparkling water, sparkling grape juice or vodka)

Cut watermelon into small chunks. Reserve 2-3 cups to go in chilled glasses. Blend the rest with a dash or two of lemon juice, small pinch of sugar and a few mint leaves. Strain; add small splash of Sprite or vodka, to taste. Pour over reserved watermelon chunks and serve.
