Summertime’s Calling Me

LIFE + STYLE

Beach MusicBeach music, warm sand and cold beverages are the perfect ingredients for summer fun.

Whether you’re a “Part-Time Party-Time Man,” “Dancin’ Romancin’” or looking for ooh, ooh, ooh, “Miss Grace,” just be sure to head for Evans Towne Center Park Saturday, June 3, with “Rainy Day Bells” on for the annual Summer Beach Blast.

Summertime is calling, and The Catalinas will be kicking off the season with classic Carolina beach music, Motown and soul.

In addition to shagging — the official beach party dance of the South — and singing along with The Catalinas, beach music lovers can wriggle their toes in the sand while enjoying food and beverages from local vendors onsite.

No outside food or drinks will be allowed, but concert-goers can bring chairs or blankets for general admission seating – if they can stay in their seats.

Gates open at 5 p.m., and general admission is free. VIP tickets also will be available for $50. For more information, go to visitcolumbiacountyga.com.
