Q. How often does Columbia County Magazine come out?

Every month. Issues are available through subscriptions and area stores.

No. We offer a mix of stories that readers anywhere can enjoy. A few subjects, like politics, are mostly local, but the majority of them, like our home, garden, food and sports sections, entertain readers from all over. People love to read about the South!

All over. We’re sold in more than 90 metro Augusta retail outlets, including Barnes & Noble, Wal-Mart, Publix, Kroger, Bi-Lo, Food Lion, Walgreens and dozens of convenience stores, restaurants, apparel stores, gift shops and other local retailers. Subscriptions are up to 85% off the cover price, though, so it saves money to subscribe!

Yes. We love to hear from our readers. In fact, some of our favorite stories were developed from ideas submitted to us. We may not be able to cover everything, but we do our best to write about the topics we feel would interest our readers the most.

Our monthly calendar includes both local and regional events that are open to the public. If you have an event that you’d like us to consider publishing, please submit your information and any photos at least 60 days in advance.

We frequently cover area events if we receive advance notice and have a photographer available. We cannot always guarantee this, though, so it’s best for organizations to submit their own photos, along with the corresponding identification. Events are published on a space-available basis.

We proudly and actively support many worthy community organizations and events. Any requests or proposals should be submitted to us on your organization’s letterhead at least 60 days before an event. Please keep it brief — one page will do.
