Registration is now open for Flavor of Georgia, an annual food product contest for established or market-ready foods and beverages made in the state.
Contestants can enter up to five products from a selection of 12 categories until Monday, January 30. Last year three of the 32 finalists, including the overall prize winner, were based in this area.
Since 2007, Flavor of Georgia has launched new products into success and garnered more publicity and sales for products already in the market.
From rural farmers to urban businesses, successful and talented food artisans have emerged from all over Georgia to create delicacies from the abundant agricultural products our state has to offer.
