When Rick Donaldson left his corporate marketing job in the 1990s, he knew he wanted to build an agency that put clients first. In 1998, he opened the doors to Mass Media Marketing — now known as M3 Agency — with a focus on trust, results, and long-term relationships.
Over the last 28 years, M3 has grown from a tiny office with desks lining the hallway into a full-service agency with a talented team of creative professionals, digital analysts, and account managers with local offices, housing full scale video production, photography and podcasting studios on-site. Despite its growth, the company has stayed true to its original mission of helping clients succeed with creative that connects and campaigns that deliver.

That approach helped M3 quickly earn major clients, including Zaxby‘s and the Taylor Auto Group. The Taylor Auto Group is still a loyal M3 client today. Rick says one of his proudest accomplishments is the agency’s long-standing relationships with both clients and employees.
“WE HAVE CLIENTS WHO HAVE BEEN WITH US FOR MORE THAN 20 YEARS, AND EMPLOYEES WHO HAVE SPENT 10, 15, EVEN 25 YEARS HERE. WE’VE TRULY BECOME AN EXTENDED FAMILY AND THIS IS MY PROUDEST BUSINESS ACHIEVEMENT.”
Through economic downturns, a recession, a global pandemic and even a local natural disaster in Hurricane Helene, M3 has continued to adapt and grow. Today, the agency remains focused on evolving with the marketing industry, investing in technology, and encouraging professional development, all while
maintaining the values it was founded on
nearly three decades ago.
